  1. The Australian Open is currently taking place, and fans are excited to see which players will come out on top. The tournament began on Feb 8th 2021 and the champions were Novak Djokovic (Men's) and Naomi Osaka (Women's)

  2. The ATP and WTA Tours have released their 2021 calendars, with many big tournaments happening all over the world. Some of the notable tournaments are: The French Open, Wimbledon, US Open and the ATP and WTA Finals.

  3. In terms of player's performances, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic continue to be top of the men's ATP rankings, while Ashleigh Barty and Simona Halep lead the women's WTA rankings.

  4. The ITF (International Tennis Federation) and the Grand Slam Board announced new rules for the Grand Slam tournaments that will take effect in 2022. This includes the introduction of a 25-second shot clock and a slight increase in the size of the service boxes to accommodate for the bigger serves.

  5. There have been several high-profile retirements and coaching changes in recent months, as well, with players like Serena Williams, Andy Murray and Kim Clijsters announcing their retirements in recent years and high-profile coaches like Carlos Moyá and Goran Ivanišević joining and leaving different teams.
